Luxury Accommodation
The Parlour, The Crib and The Byre are three lovingly converted cowstalls belonging to the delightful eighteenth century Old Farmhouse in Bagbury Lane, Restrop, Purton. They provide the ultimate in serviced accommodation and come with a tasty and varied continental breakfast served in the room. Between them the cowstalls boast an abundance of original features and are individually and furnished with hand picked items of antique Chinese, Indian and English furniture and soft furnishings selected from private boutiques and antique markets. There are 34 acres of grounds and a private 9 hole, par 35 golf course which guests are welcome to use at their leisure, enhanced by stunning views of the evening sunset.
Journey Back in Time
The old cowstalls have been converted and created as an extension of the original farmhouse with an ambiance radiating cosy rustic charm. Enjoy a gentle journey back in time when pride was taken in workmanship, craft and design. The carpenter lovingly made good the beautiful old oak beams and the paint on the walls is by Farrow & Ball. The decor and palette in the Stalls is both soothing to the eye yet ripe, vibrant and sensual.

Breakfasts are of the highest quality that can be sourced using local and homemade produce without additives or colourings and wherever possible organic. The sumptuous sheets are antique French linen, many monogrammed. The soap bags are made locally with calming lavender and oats, renowned for making skin smooth and soft. The bath soaks are made from organic French Chablis and Beaujolais wines. The hops draped over the beams are reputed to be therapeutic and have a calming aroma and in one of the highest points in Wiltshire the air is a tonic. Come and be luxuriated.
